About the Artist

I am an artist currently residing in the state of Minnesota.  I received my Bachelor's Degree in fine arts from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  My primary choice of medium is oil painting, but I also work with watercolors and dry media.  In general, my art portrays a sense of solitude.  It is not a solitude that makes a viewer feel lonely or isolated, but instead puts them in a peaceful and meditative state.  It reflects my personal life, especically growing up when I spent a lot of time alone.
